Sprinto
Sprinto is a popular instant-win lottery combination game played exclusively in Quebec.
The Sprinto draw is held daily at 22:30 local time, with ticket sales closing shortly beforehand and resuming immediately afterward.
Tickets cost CAD 2.00 or CAD 5.00, which influences the prizes available in both parts of the game but not the chances of winning.
Players must make a Quick Pick to then receive five randomly generated numbersbetween 1 and 50.
CAD 2.00 tickets are printed with racing cars, while CAD 5.00 tickets are printed with horses, with the Loto Quebec website then running a virtual car or horse race for an instant chance to win if the corresponding car or horse comes home first.
The five randomly selected numbers are for the main draw held in the evening.
Players can also enter Extra for an additional CAD 1.00 per play, with players getting a random seven-digit number printed on their ticket for a chance to win the CAD 100,000 jackpot by matching all numbers in the order drawn, with secondary prizes also available. Players are able to buy up to 10 Extra entries in one go.
Because Sprinto includes an instant win element, Advance Play for multiple future entries is unavailable.
Jackpot
The size of the Sprinto jackpot differs for the CAD 2.00 and CAD 5.00 games: for the CAD 2.00 game the jackpot is fixed at CAD 100,000, while for the CAD 5.00 game it is fixed at CAD 250,000.
Up to three players can win the full jackpot amount, but if there are more than three, the jackpot pool is shared equally.
In the instant games, players can win up to CAD 5,000 for a CAD 2.00 ticket and up to CAD 25,000 for a CAD 5.00 ticket.
