Lotto D is a popular instant-win lottery game exclusively available in Quebec.

The Lotto D draw is held daily at 22:30 local time, with ticket sales closing shortly before the draw and reopening immediately afterward.

Entry costs CAD 2.00 or CAD 5.00, with the ticket price determining the size of prizes but not the odds of winning or the dynamic of the game.

Lotto D entries are Quick Picks only, with tickets having eight white dice numbers between 1 and 6 for the main game and one red dice number between 1 and 6 for the instant win game.

The instant win game is simulated on-screen for online and app players, as well as on the lottery terminal itself. Players can win up to CAD 5,000 if the instant win game generates eight dice of the same number that match the red die on the ticket.

These eight white dice are then entered into the main draw later that evening.

Players can also enter the Extra game for an extra CAD 1.00, receiving a random seven-digit number on their ticket for a chance to win the CAD 100,000 jackpot if all seven digits are matched in the order drawn.

Due to the instant win element of Lotto D, only one entry can be bought at a time, which also means there is no Advance Play option.

Jackpot

For the main game, a jackpot of CAD 25,000 is winnable for a CAD 2.00 entry, or CAD 100,000 for a CAD 5.00 entry.

Up to three players can win the full jackpot amount, but if there are more than three winners, the accumulated amount is shared equally.

The overall odds of winning a prize are 1 in 18 for the main Draw, and 1 in 2.5 for Quick Play.
