Ontario 49 is one of several popular lottery games played in Ontario, Canada.
Draws take place twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 22:30 local time, with ticket sales ending shortly before the draw.
Ontario 49 tickets cost CAD 1.00.
To enter Ontario 49, choose six numbers between 1 and 49, or go for a Quick Pick to enter with randomly generated numbers.
In Combination Play, up to nine numbers are entered into the draw, with all chosen numbers being played in every possible combination to provide a much better chance of winning a prize, but with a considerably more expensive ticket!
For an additional CAD 1.00, ENCORE prints a seven-digit number onto the ticket, with players who match the numbers in order winning the CAD 1 million jackpot. ENCORE is a great value game with 22 different prize tiers.
In Advance Play, up to 26 draws can be entered at once.
Jackpot
Ontario 49 has a fixed jackpot of CAD 2 million that is shared equally if there is more than one winner. There is no jackpot rollover, nor does the jackpot roll down to the next prize tier.
