Cash 3 is a popular state lottery game played in Western Australia.

Draws take place daily, with results broadcast on television at 18:00 local time. Ticket sales end at 17:00 each day and resume shortly after the draw.

Entry into Cash 3 costs AUD 0.50,AUD 1.00 or AUD 2.00 depending on the chosen mode of play.

Players choose three numbers between 0 and 9, which can repeat if desired due to the winning numbers being drawn from separate pools. A Slikpik can also be selected for randomly generated numbers.

Participants must also decide whether to enter their selections as “Any Order” or “Exact Order” bets, or both.

Advance Play is also available, in addition to “Combo Packs” to enter Cash 3 alongside other Australian lotteries.

Cash 3 does not have any secondary games or ways of winning beyond the main game.

Jackpot

Cash 3 has a top prize of AUD 500 for an Exact Order bet that costs AUD 1.00, and AUD 250 for a bet that costs AUD 0.50.

Players who match three numbers in exact order are guaranteed the top prize, irrespective of how many winners there are.

Jackpots do not roll over or roll down if there is no winner, with the prize fund carrying over to the next draw.

Odds and Prizes

The odds of winning the Cash 3 jackpot are 1 in 1,000. While these are excellent odds for a lottery game, the jackpot is very modest indeed, but as an inexpensive daily draw game, the odds and prizes are still worthwhile.

Players can win prizes at three different tiers.

Payout and Taxes

Lottery winnings are not taxed in Australia, with all Cash 3 prizes being paid out as lump sums only.

Prizes can be claimed at Lotterywest retailers, at the Lotterywest head office or by post if the signed winning ticket is sent with a completed claim form.

Prize winners have up to 180 days to make a claim.

Players must be at least 16 years of age to play Cash 3.

Cash 3 can be played online on the official website or by purchasing tickets from Lotterywest retailers across Western Australia.

Cash 3 is currently not available to players outside of Western Australia, nor on lottery agent websites.
