Winning Numbers
Quiniela Plus
Quiniela Plus is a popular lottery game played across Argentina, with several chances to win prizes.
Draws are held six evenings a week on Monday to Saturday at 21:00 local time.
Quiniela Plus tickets cost ARS 15.
To play, choose eight sets of two-digit numbers from 01 to 99, or go for a Quick Pick for randomly generated numbers.
A total of 20 four-digit numbers are drawn, such as 1234, 6789, etc.
The Quiniela Plus jackpot is won by matching all eight player-selected numbers with any of the final two digits from the selected group of 20 four-digit numbers, e.g., 34 and 89 from the numbers listed above.
The price of a Quiniela Plus ticket also includes the Super Plus and Chance Plus games.
In Super Plus, the first two digits are relevant, e.g., 12 and 67, with players who match the most numbers winning the Super Plus Jackpot.
In Chance Plus, the middle two digits are relevant, e.g., 23 and 78. This game has the same prize structure as Quiniela Plus, with a fixed jackpot of ARS 800,000 for players who match their eight numbers.
Note that there are no additional prizes for matching more than eight numbers.
Jackpot
Quiniela Plus has a minimum guaranteed jackpot of ARS 1.2 million.
This game has no jackpot or rollover cap, with the jackpot quickly reaching much higher values due to it being drawn so frequently.
Odds and Prizes
The odds of winning the Quiniela Plus jackpot are 1 in 1,477,239.
These are great odds for a lottery jackpot, but the prize itself is very modest; however, as a six-days-a-week draw that is relatively inexpensive to enter, Quiniela Plus is good value for money.
Players can win prizes at four different tiers, with secondary prizes fixed for Quiniela Plus and Chance Plus.
Prize Category | Numbers Matched | Winning Odds | Winning Odds % |
---|---|---|---|
1 | 8 | 1 in 1,477,239 | 0.00007 |
2 | 7 | 1 in 30,006 | 0.003 |
3 | 6 | 1 in 1,519 | 0.07 |
4 | 5 | 1 in 146 | 0.68 |
Payout and Taxes
Taxation on lottery prizes in Argentina is high, with 31% of winnings deducted at source.
Quiniela Plus prizes are paid out as lump sums only, with players having just 15 days to make a claim.
Who Can Play Quiniela Plus?
Players must be at least 18 years of age to play Quiniela Plus.
Tickets can be purchased from authorized retailers across Argentina, but neither the official website or app sells tickets, which instead publish results, generate numbers and provide additional information.
Overseas players are currently unable to participate in Quiniela Plus.
History of Quiniela Plus
