Vikinglotto
Vikinglotto is a transnational lottery game played by nine participating countries. In addition to Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovenia also participate in Vikinglotto.
In Estonia, Vikinglotto tickets cost €1 and are on sale until 19:00 local time on the day of the draw. Ticket sales resume immediately after the draw has taken place.
Vikinglotto draws take place once a week on Wednesday evenings at 21:00 local time.
To enter Vikinglotto, choose six numbers between 1 and 48, plus an additional number known locally as the Viking number between 1 and 8. Players can also choose randomly generated Quick Pick numbers.
Players can also use the System feature for the selection of additional numbers entered into the draw as multiple combinations.
Jackpot
The minimum Vikinglotto jackpot is €3 million.
While Vikinglotto has no rollover cap, there is a jackpot cap of €35 million.
If no-one matches all six numbers and the Viking number when the jackpot reaches €35 million, the jackpot rolls down to the next prize tier.
The highest Vikinglotto jackpots:
- €33.2 million on April 11, 2018.
- €24.5 million on May 15, 2015.
- €21.3 million on January 18, 2012.
