How does the Fireball option work in Virginia Pick 3?

The Fireball replaces any of the winning Pick 3 numbers to generate additional winning combinations. The Fireball is drawn immediately following each Pick 3 draw.

It is possible to win multiple Fireball prizes during each prize draw.

Example

Select 2-2-3 , for example, as your Pick 3 numbers.

Next, choose a $1 bet and the Fireball.

In this example the winning numbers are 2-2-2 , but the Fireball is 3 .

Because the Fireball can replace any of the 2-2-2 numbers, possible combinations could be:

• 3-2-2
• 2-3-2 
• 2-2-3

This would pay out three Fireball combinations at $375 each, for an accumulated Fireball win of $1500 ($375 x 4).
