Cash Five is one of several popular state lottery games operated by Texas Lottery.

Cash Five draws are held six days a week on Mondays to Saturdays at 22:12 local time, withdraws being broadcast on television and online. Tickets can be purchased up to 22:02 on draw days, with sales resuming afterwards at 22:15.

Tickets cost $1.00.

To enter, choose five numbers between 1 and 35, or go for a Quick Pick for randomly generated numbers.

Advance play is available for up to 12 draws at a time.

Players in Texas can also play Cash Five as part of a Lone Star Lineup entry, with $5.00 paying for six Quick Pick entries into every state lottery game.

Cash Five does not have any supplementary games or additional opportunities to win prizes beyond the main draw.

Players who enter online via Lottery Agent websites can access additional features such as System Entry.

Jackpot

Cash Five has a fixed guaranteed jackpot of $25,000, with no rollover or roll down if the jackpot is not won.

Up to three ticket holders can win $25,000 per draw, but if there are more than three winners, the $75,000 jackpot is split equally.

Lottery prizes up to the value of $5,000 are tax free in Texas, with prizes over this amount being subject to 25% for Texas residents, and 30% for everyone else.
